I don't know what it was, but there was SOMETHING missing.
Both protagonists had chemistry, and I understood immediately why they liked each other. However, I think that i miss that step in which they change from only liking each other to be in love. And I couldn't truly enjoy their scenes togueter after that because I didn't completely bought their relationship.
That isn't to say that this is not a good romance. I actually think that this is a me problem. Maybe I'll give it another chance another time and change my mind.
What stood out to me this time, though, was Nadia and Libby relationship as sisters. It struck an emotional cord in me as someone with an only sister
