Who Moved My Cheese? by Spencer Johnson

4.0

A less than one hundred page little gem of a book that you can read in about an hour. A simple story, perhaps, but one that has a profound message for those who are prepared to see the writing on the wall and act on the principles made clear.

As an adult reader, one should not be fooled by the elementary, almost childlike quality of the prose, as if this were merely an enchanting parable that one could read to one's children alone, but gain no wisdom from for oneself. Often the most extraordinary opportunities are hidden among the seemingly insignificant events of life.

Do take the time to read ‘A Gathering - Chicago’ before the story commences, and ‘A Discussion - Later That Same Day’ after the story’s conclusion. Doing so will assist you in making better sense of the many messages contained in Who Moved My Cheese. Finally, take the time to (honestly) compare yourself to the characters - Sniff, Scurry, Hem and Haw; with whom are YOU most closely aligned?
