Cute romance and you gotta love a book about a book club…

But anti-fat statements and comments about people’s bodies/weight gain/weight loss were a big distraction for me. 👎🏾 

Example: A character saying, “I think he’s trying to fatten me up so other men won’t want me.” 🙄 

Perpetuating the idea that fat = bad or less appealing/attractive is just not it.
