An Age of License by Lucy Knisley
3.0
3.5 stars
A cartoonist's accounts of her month of traveling through Europe during her late twenties. It's a travel memoir that not overly complex but still it was an enjoyable, quick read. I've been a fan of Knisley's art for sometime but I felt in terms of direction, it wasn't as strong as some of her later works. But that perhaps can't be helped as it is a comic about wandering and the uncertainty of one's 20s and of getting older. That being said, I did find this comic travel memoir to be charming, introspective and humorous.
