A charming read about a woman, Ivy, who buys a farmhouse in a small town, makes some friends, and falls in love with Christmas.
At first I was not a fan of Ivy. She was harsh and blunt and kind of rude. However, I think her development was nicely done. There were a few things I'd like to see more fleshed out, like her relationship with Ezra, the hesitation to get involved with him, etc. But I realize that in the length of this book it couldn't be done.
The "twist" at the end was truly a surprise for me. I knew what would happen but didn't see the how it would happen. I definitely shed a tear or two.
This brought me so much joy and warm fuzzy Christmas feelings.
