I do enjoy a good thriller and that really was a good one, so much so that I read it in just under six hours. Six hours where I ignored my poor husband because I was desperate to know “who did it”.
Although I haven’t read any of the other D.I Kim Stone stories I didn’t have any issues with story gapping, in fact the story read quite well as a stand-alone. It was clever, fast paced and had me on the edge of my seat. Really good story
