a relatively short story that kept me on the edge of my seat. the novel floats between two points of view that are happening simultaneously, showcasing the significance of each character's perspective. an examination of how trauma and mental health issues push humans to some of the darkest corners imaginable and, yet, we are never alone in that experience.
