This novel was more like 3 stories in 1 and I wanted more focus on Poppy and Fletch instead of all the side stories. The story picks up where Desperate Duchesses left off and continues many of the side stories from the previous book. Unfortunately, Poppy and Fletch, barely make up 1/3 of the book. Most HR novel focus on the courtship between the main characters so I really enjoyed that this book focused on a married couple trying to remember why they still loved one another. While I enjoy tension between Jemma and Elijah and am looking forward to reading their book I really wanted more from Poppy and Fletch. I'm not a fan of the character Charlotte so her parts in the story were tedious to get through.
