the way furudate explored akaashi’s psyche during this volume hit so close to home it made me uncomfortable. I should be used to this, considering how often furudate tends to do something like this throughout the series, but alas… I feel like my heart is being torn right out of my chest every time. who knew this series about teenage boys playing volleyball could be so healing and profound and inspiring?

on a much lighter note, bokuaka for the win!!! also karasuno’s match against kamomedai has barely begun and I’m already so anxious I’m about to combust!!! who knew volleyball could stress me out this much!!!

I’m flying through these volumes and I should probably slow down but I can’t help myself.
