Probably more like 3.5 stars but I'll round it up as it is my first book of the year and I did find it really gripping! Very clever, a really harsh exposé on the literary world and I'm not sure there could be a more cringy main character. A hard hitting and captivating start but then I felt like the second half lost momentum. Perhaps all the twitter references render it slightly passé already but all in all it made me think and check my white privilege and pray that no one ever considers me a 'Karen'!
