Death in a White Tie by Ngaio Marsh
4.0
I enjoyed this a lot more than the first I read. You can tell that Ngaio Marsh had figured out Roderick Alleyn's character by now. I found him to be funny, charming, brilliant and, especially in this volume, emotional.
I like a good tale of someone (detective or otherwise) searching for the killer of a loved one. This one did not disappoint. It was a detailed complicated dance but I enjoyed the journey to the conclusion. Really enjoyed getting more insight into Alleyn in this one as well.
