I can’t believe how many random characters get thrown at you, but it works. Deep callbacks to things two or three books ago make you feel crazy for a second, then the threads start to intertwine. Rapid fire pace for a lot of the book. Jumping everywhere. Should be a mess, but comes together nicely. A beautiful, chaotic mess.
