HOLY SHIT. The first thing I need to mention is the speed at which I consumed this entire book. I started this at 4pm and was finished by 8pm. I couldn’t put it down except to eat dinner for like 10 minutes. I just had to know what was going to happen!
There is really not much I can say about this without spoiling anything, so I will keep it brief. While not necessarily a unique story, it is well-written and fast-paced. There were a few things I was able to predict, but that didn’t impact my enjoyment of the story! I liked that we got the story in 3 different parts, with two different POVs. I added new layers of complexity to the story and characters that I appreciated.
This was my first Freida McFadden book, and it did not disappoint and I felt like it lived up to the hype!
