Day Watch by Sergei Lukyanenko

A great sequel that gives the other prospective. It's always nice to read a series that is not one sided, but allows you to choose which side you belong to. For those who haven't read Night Watch should. The tales are set in Russia and deal with two opposing supernatural groups (known as "Others"): the Night Watch, an organization dedicated to policing the actions of the Dark Others—and the Day Watch, which polices the actions of the Light Others. Like with all things Russian it seems, it's very deep and thought provoking dealing with the literal and figurative interpurtations of good and evil and what are their bounderies.
