All of This: A Memoir of Death and Desire by Rebecca Woolf

3.0

Read half of it and didn't finish. Perhaps it was me, that this book didn't keep me reading. Perhaps it's not the right time for me to read it. Rebecca Woolf is a popular blogger who has written for the New York Times, Time magazine, Glamour, and others. Woolf writes this "grief-and-relief" memoir about being in an unhappy marriage, contemplating divorce, sleeping apart and then suddenly her husband is diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. How do you walk alongside your spouse during this catastrophic time when you actually don't love them anymore and really just wanted to leave?
I will pick this book up at a later date as Rebecca Woolf is an artist with her words. I am obviously not ready to admire the art, but the art exists.
