once again, i want to thank the lovely hope e. davis for sending me an arc of the sequel book to “demure”.

we are starting off strong from where we left off from the first book, and are presented with different point of views; sierra and aodhan’s. i grew to love sierra more in this novel and the animal sidekick trope was a highlight with many laughs.

since this is the second novel, i do not want to give too much away! however, i do recommend checking out this series especially if you love the academic world of “a discovery of witches” by deborah harkness and the fantasy world of “a court of thorns and roses” by sarah j. maas.
