Rogue Games by Reece Barden
4.0
This is an enjoyable start to a new series that is a companion to Barden’s Shifters of Grey Ridge series. You do not need to read it to enjoy this new series but if you have you will definitely recognize characters from that series here.
The beginning and ending of this first book are quite strong and I love that the games are going to be stretched across multiple books linking them together. The only miss for me was the middle where I got a little bored with the mains back and forth. The conflict there with the Maggie plot line wasn’t strong enough for it to go on for as long as it did. But overall I enjoyed it. Dean’s integrity was a high point and I always love some inherent bias that has to be overcome. Definitely excited to read the next installment!
