This is one of the best audiobook presentations I've experienced.
The amount of detail included about ASD and neurodivergence was stunningly accurate and pointed. As a 30-something year old woman who was just recently diagnosed as ADHD, I related to a lot of this book. I took my time with it. I would encourage other readers to take their time with it as well, let it sink in
Feel the feels.
It did a great job explaining masking, and really delved into insecurities we face as neurodivergent women, as well as mothers on the spectrum. The main character so accurately described my inner deepest fears of inadequacy and missing signals. It was a bit heartbreaking, but there was also some hope in it too. Such is life.
