I absolutely adored this book from start to finish. Dex and Mosscap's conversations about life, purpose, and personhood were insightful and inspiring. I loved following Dex through their struggle to understand what they wanted out of life. Mosscap was just a weird little delight and I appreciated its sweet but alien perspective on life.
Also, the worldbuilding? Amazing. I loved how thorough this book was about all the little details of sustainable living, from addressing where all the waste goes/how it's recycled to explaining how buildings are made with ecologically friendly materials. Just let me live in this fascinating little world!
