I thought this was like a renaissance novel for King. It to reflected his way earlier writings, the characters were so well developed, the story moved along so well and the plot twist and turns were unexpected, excited and rewarding.

Joyland for me was a true work of crime fiction blended with a story of sincere friendship. I really found myself chuckling more than once reading this book.

I'll give a more detailed review but for now all I can do is strongly recommend this book.
