The Boyfriend Goal by Lauren Blakely
5.0
Ok firstly, you know it’s going to be a great audiobook when Connor Crais and Erin Mallon team up with a duet style narration. I don’t know why all audios aren’t made this way because they bring a book to life and these narrators suit the characters perfectly.
Next, I was hooked from the first chapter. I love Josie’s manner and way of thinking, she is my kinda gal. Her banter and sarcasm was witty and quirky. Once I hit the second chapter, I was in heaven. Connor Crais could read War and Peace to me in one sitting and I’d never take a break, that man’s voice is supremacy. He makes Wesley even more swoon worthy.
This is a classic LB novel that had characters living in an upbeat world and I’m all for it. There’s great camaraderie and excellent banter between all the characters. I always come away with a huge smile and feeling better about the place when reading one of her stories. I loved that Josie and Wesley were supportive and only wanted the best for the other. There’s plenty of spice if that’s what you’re needing too. I adored they did the list together and Josie was a rule follower (we could be twins!) and also like breaking them with Wes. There was such to love about this book and more so with the audio.
