I haven’t loved the few thrillers I’ve read and so I’ve tended to shy away from the genre. But this year, I’m trying to read more mysteries and thrillers to widen my literary horizons. 

I escaped into this book and kept coming back to it to solve the case. I enjoyed the main character and appreciated that all of her complicated relationships didn’t have to wrap up nicely with repair. I found this a nice little read!
