The Burning Shadow by Jennifer L. Armentrout
5.0
This book killed me. JLA has done it again.
I'm usually good at figuring out plot twists before they happen but not this time and wow this book had a lot of great twists.
I'm so glad everyone was as confused and lost as Evie in this book. In the darkest star everyone (including me, thanks to the lux series) knew everything and no one would explain things to Evie and that frustrated me a lot.
Evie and Luc are amazing characters. I just loved seeing them get to know each other (or remember each other).
Also I love that we got to see so many characters from the previous series. I miss them so much I might re-read the lux series again (this would be the third time).
