Run Away by Harlan Coben
5.0
Another fast paced good read from Coben. His books are like Law and Order - engaging story with some unexpected plot twists. I actually heard the “dun dun” sound at the end of chapter thirty one. Did not expect that at all.
The story moves between Simon and Ingrid Greene’s attempts to find theirs daughter Paige and murders being carried out by two people who have been hired by a religious cult to kill a list of men. The two stories intersect when the man the daughter was living with is murdered and turns out to have a tie to an adoption agency in Maine.
I liked how Coben ties everything together in the end - which left me wondering - what secrets am I willing to keep from my spouse? And just how far would I go to help my child?
