How to Solve Your Own Murder by Kristen Perrin

4.0

Well, I thoroughly enjoyed this. Dropped a star because I wasn’t a fan of the final confrontation with the murderer (it felt too much left to chance when the rest had been more a classic search for clues and deductions), and because the conclusion couldn’t quite live up to the interesting premise, but honestly it’s the first book in a while I actually wanted to constantly go back to (I did listen to the audiobook which I enjoyed). Loved the premise and the diary entries from the MC’s great aunt that built the story in the past and was used to solve a murder in the present. I liked the MC too. Just a fun read overall for me.
