Exit West by Mohsin Hamid

3.0

a story about migration and refugees who fled from conflicted countries... a story that began with two lovers in its root, yet the migration changed them both from who they were once. a story of two person trying to find meanings in their lives and trying to let go of the things that once be very dear to them.

there are so many metaphors inside this book, sometimes I wonder whether my interpretation of its actual meaning was right... however, I really enjoyed this book and Hamid’s writing style.
