A disturbing thought provoking book with a chilling ending.
I'll confess this one had been on my tbr pile for longer than I care to admit. I've seen it discussed at length everywhere in the horror community, purporting to turn people vegetarian. While I'm not vegetarian (and this book didn't convert me), the practices and world created in this disturbing and dark novel did make me think and had me cringing and feeling squirmish at times. For me the true gasp out loud was the ending. I just loved how it finished, yes I want more but I think it was the perfect final drive home of this book. I gave it 5 stars as I was still thinking about it days later. Highly recommend.
