Falling for the Forward: A Fake Marriage Hockey Romance by Brenda Rothert

5.0

This book had all of my favorite tropes and was so much fun to read. I was immediately sucked in by the sunshine and grumpy vibes and could not wait to see how these strangers that barely interacted would end up together.  The kids were adorable and hilarious and their story was heartbreaking. I love seeing Carter learn to be a caregiver and a partner at the same time.  The scenes with the pig absolutely cracked me up.  The spicy scenes were amazing and I could keep reading on and on about this couple. This book was light on the hockey, but I didn't care because I was so enamored by the romance and Suki (and her hilarious and loyal friends).  I also loooove that it was a novella, just the perfect length to not put this book down!
