Just finished this, putting in a 2 star placeholder for now. I don’t really know what I thought this was going to be about, but I went in knowing nothing. All I’ve heard is that people either love or hate this. I can see this collection being really impactful for young adults. I don’t feel that I’m the intended audience for this book, but I would have been if this had come out before 2015 when I was still a teenager. The minimalist aesthetic of the poems and sketchy illustrations gave me the impression that this may have been a notes app book.
