This was a pretty great romance, even though it's written in first person present tense. I don't normally love romances with rock stars or rich people, I don't exactly know why, but I really enjoyed this book. And I also don't like enemies to lovers, but they weren't enemies for long in the story.
I loved the chemistry between Brenna and Rye, and I always adore sex agreement to love tropes.
I especially loved that Rye was vulnerable and honest multiple times, and he and his men friends discussed actual emotions and gave relationship advice. I don't think I've ever seen that in a romance before.
That said, I don't know if it would pass the Bechdel test, because almost all the conversations among the women are about men. Only a teensy amount of work stuff.
But all the same, I loved it, and I will def check out more by this author.
