I always thought comics were for nerds.
This is not simply a comic. This should be in the literary canon and every pupil should have to read this in high school, rather than those horrendously boring "classics" they get dragged through.
The use of symbols is stunning, the drawings are skillful and the story is entertaining but at the same time treating and addressing serious issues. It was great fun to read.
So.. are comics for nerds?
I do not know. But if they are, then I am proud to call myself one!
