My biggest gripe with this book is that there was no QUEST! They travelled but WHY? The whole gang just kind of kept wandering wherever the magical ladies told them to. I get that it's because they're powerless in their lives and powerless over their fates or whatever, but I read a 800 page book and I'd like to say that I know why I did. Except I do know why, there are two reasons: I'm obsessed with Thom, incredible character, and Rand is, unfortunately adorable—even if it took me most of the book to be able to tell the boys apart.
