This was such an incredibly fun read! Everything about it was beautifully done. The characters are believable and have shown a lot of growth since the first book. I've loved joining in on the adventure. It feels like I'm right there in the center of all the action. The ever growing plot just kept thickening and Flanagan cleverly orchestrated everything to a T .

Some may not like how the author is dragging out completing the mission of bringing back the Andomal, but I think it adds more excitement and leaves you anxiously awaiting for the next book. Does the Heron Brotherband finally complete their mission in this book? You'll have to find out for yourself. I can only sum up this book by these deep and moving words:

“The Herons! The Herons!
The mighty, fighting Herons!
No other Brotherband you'll see
Is even half as darin'
