I finally caved and decided to read the series after seeing it on social media for awhile now! And I actually really liked it and I am excited to continue reading the series. (I went on a four hour road trip in total to my nearest Barnes and Noble to get the rest of the series because I had a feeling I would like it after reading only about eight chapters at that point of this book.) I do not know much about the series expect that I should not like our main love interest in this book, Tamlin. A lot of the people that I follow do not care for this character. So my thoughts are very much guarded for this character because I do not want to spend too much time with him if that is the case. However, I do like Rhysand so I am very much open here. I really do like Feyre and find her to a pretty strong character in my opinion. However, the ending of the book did not feel as strong as the beginning of the book. It felt a bit out of the realm of the story. But from what I have seen on social media the later books are where people find their favourites. I was also waiting for a ball to drop at the end but it kind of ended peacefully. (I am interested in what they do with the TV show that was announced recently! I have some hope with Ron Moore working on it.)
