When Elner Shimfissle is stung to death by wasps, her death affects all the people in her life, and they reflect on their lives and relationships with Elner. Meanwhile, Elner is learning a bit about the afterlife, which is not quite what she expected. I enjoyed this book and laughed aloud several times while reaidng it, but ultimately there were some awkward parts, and the ending was a bit unsatisfying.
