That was a journey. Broadbent has crafted characters and plots that poignantly make me ponder how complicated doing the "right thing" can be. Well written and complicated characters. 

Nura is well written in that I truly have gone from resenting her, to liking her, to pitying her, to truly despising her. But through it all, I understand her. Same with Zeryth and Caduan. Broadbent crafts villains who I pity and sympathize with. Excellent departure from a black and white good vs. evil battle. I came to truly love the Aefe chapters. Even though I was fairly certain of her eventual identity, the reveal was heartbreaking.
