The Girl And The Hunt by A.J. Rivers

3.0

We were on a good trajectory, but we fell flat on book 6 of Emma Griffin FBI. Emma and Sam rush back to Feathered Nest to try and save one of the residents from Catch Me's deadly clutches. They arrive too late, but Emma vows to make this stop. Catch Me has left more clues to Emma's past, but I felt as though it was a slow trudge to get to our conclusion. As always, I enjoyed the flashbacks and occasional delve into others' POVs. Like some other reviewers though, I am starting to feel that with as many books that are being generated and with how quickly they are coming out, there is something being lost. I feel as though some of these could have been combined for a longer book but more cohesive and interesting story arc. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel for her past to be resolved. I just hope it was worth the wait.
