I loved Dakota, he is a younger not quite as hard Niall. It’s great to see especially considering they grew up apart but the brothers are very much alike, with a number of shared mannerisms. Dakota would like to think he is the grumpiest but Niall has him well and truly covered here. He is not very social which is hilarious as he has a job that requires him to be social.
Tad was a good foil for Dakota. He was more social and helped to bring him out of his shell. I liked how he just kept plugging away. He pushed but never too far, so as not to ruin the friendship.
The secondary characters are great, from Tad’s parents through to Amanda the brothers fiancée. Still not too sure about Boone but his comedy of errors was funny and a bit sad as well.
The side mysteries were covered pretty quicky and bear one was good.
Quick entertaining read
