Omg the king's meeting at the end. Just the whole ending of this book was so hooking, I loved it. This book was just all the characters suffering the whole time and I was here for it. Calaena's growth with Rowan was really interesting, and Rowan did grow on me. Still a Chaol girlie forever though - Plus him saying I love you to Dorian was so bittersweet, his growth was really nice to see, from captain to rebel. All the new characters took a moment to get use to, I'm not really vibing with Manon currently, though her wyvern is kinda cute (if he dies I stg).

One final thing, you're really telling me the big thing that Aelin needed to get over was almost drowning in a river? Like I get the sacrifice part but I was expecting something a little bit more big? Icon either way though.
