Hooked
I had heard lots of talk about this book and its been on my tbr forever. So I had to make it a part of my new year tbr list. I'm so glad I finally read this story. Although its loosely based on Peter pan and the other characters, this story is much darker and has a modern twist. I loved the setting of the story. People and places pooping up here and there. Hook's charm and presence which draws people towards him. Wendy's ability to look pass the lies and love the darker side, even though it makes her look naive. Although she very much played the care giver to her brother, Jon; she was still a little girl in her own mind, clinging to the memories of a father long since gone. The betrayal in this book happens so much, that you start to doubt just about anyone in around Hook. It was a brilliant read and was so glad I finally read it.
