The pace was really slow.. and I just couldn’t handle some of the writing choices. The world is presented as a magical non-earth… and yet they have zippers and showers?? The (what I’m assuming) love interest calling the FMC “little one” was also SUCH an ick. Most of the world building is tell not show “you know how this goes right?… yeah it’s *world building dump*”
