Maybe this illuminates some of the darkness in my own heart, but I could hardly put this book down until I finished it. Without Remorse is a who-dunnit with amazing action-adventure, well-written characters, and often dark psychological drama. It showcases John Kelly, the Vietnam vet and Special Forces legend who by the end of the novel becomes John Clark, CIA superspy. If you like the Jason Bourne novels, this is another in that vein, and one you won't be able to put down.
