Wanted - Bad Boyfriend by T.A. Moore
3.0
I like it! Perhaps not the most unforgettable book I've ever read, but I really liked the setting and the characters. They were well-rounded and pretty... well, not always good people, which I can appreciate. Sure, there was perhaps a little too much time spent on some of Nate's clients when there were other things I would have wanted to read about, but that might just be me being impatient.
As for the plot, I mean, I'm always down for some fake/pretend relationship. This one was also slightly different in that the transition from fake to real felt surprisingly smooth. There was less angsty pining than I had expected (though there was certainly pining, make no mistake) which made it quite enjoyable. That's not to say there wasn't drama and grand gestures, but it was more subdued than some would make it.
This book was a nice read, basically, and perfect if you want something fairly uncomplicated but enjoyable.
