This was an amazing sequel!!! I am utterly obsessed with Emily and Wendell and the fairie realm.
This installment was a lot more action packed than the first. We got more sightings of faeries and got to see more of the fairie realm. We had a couple new side characters who fitted in perfectly.
I absolutely loved watching all the moments between Emily and Wendell. It's such a beautiful, slow, tender and wholesome romance. They compliment each other so well.
I was so excited to when Poe made an appearance too!! I was worried we wouldn't get to see him in this book because they've travelled elsewhere for research so it was very fun to see him again.
It's just such a cosy yet fun and enchanting read. I adore the uniqueness of the writing style in journal format. And I adore the characters, they are unique and flawed. I just adore everything about this book and series.
