"Language was always the companion of empire, and as such, together they begin, grow, and flourish. And later, together, they fall."
This was insane. Regardless of this book being a brick, I flew through it. R.F. Kuangs writing style is just so immersiv you'll find yourself unable to put this down.
The world and its meaning tied together with an important message Kuang created blew my mind away and had me thinking about it nonstop.
And of course in true R.F. Kuang passion, I went through every emotion known to man kind in the span of this book. So gut-wrenching, yet so beautiful. I can't stop going back to this book in my mind even after finishing it.
