My first read of this short bear shifter series was okay. Didn't know grizzly had alphas since I'm mostly familiar with wolves ones. There wasn't much in the way of worldbuilding of any explanation for why Kingsley was human with a shifter dad. I had trouble connecting to the characters and the trouble with the lions seemed to come out of nowhere. Everett's book is next but I'm not sure I'll read it.
