Dance of Death by Douglas Preston

5.0

The second in the Diogenes trilogy and 6th book overall. I enjoyed this one a lot more than Brimstone and found the character of Diogenes to be a truly chilling villain and foil to our favorite FBI agent, Pendergast. I'm re-reading this series and while I recall not loving these earlier novels last time, I'm finding that this time around I really enjoyed this trilogy within the bigger story and found myself connecting to all of the characters in their own way. I originally didn't like Constance but am coming to understand and connect with her character more this time around.
