This series has been so completely different than I thought it would be, and not particularly in a good way. It was recommended as New Adult Fantasy Romance and I think the romance part should definitely be thrown out of there because that isn't accurate at all. I know there is supposed to be some that comes into play in hopefully the next coming books but um. Nothing basically right now. It's also very dark and there are so many things I'm in the dark about. I'm trying to push through but man the end of this book was so fucked and I really hate the direction it went in. I guess we'll see how this goes, but I'm like sick to my stomach right now. So many sexual assault warnings are needed for this series.
