i lived the poetic language and cyclical, meandering story-telling. the narrator was great, reminded me of aunties spinning yarns. the darkly funny, satirical elements were relatable and made me feel seen. it also made me pause and reflect on the intersection of my own indigeneity, corporate-ish work,  and city lifestyle. crucially, one of the main messages of this book is everything centres around Country, and that’s how i centre myself as well.
