I have to preface by saying I love Sally Rooney's writing, so for those that don't (and haven't previously enjoyed her style of narrative), this will probably not be the book for you. For me, her characters always feel well developed enough for me to actually care for them, and although at times they are unlikeable, I could relate to all of them in some way. Also enjoyed the discussions had on contemporary society, religion, motherhood and life as women in the world (as well as all the other topics they pondered over! loveee women who yap on and on). A book about "nothing" that is simultaneously, about everything.
